The types of services include ADSL, cable, wireless You are responsible for any equipment needed for your computer to access the service provided. How can I be sure that I have a positive homestay experience? Our priority is that you have a positive experience in your homestay. We recommend that you set aside your expectations and stereotypes and be open to new experiences. It is very important to keep an open mind! The French culture, customs, people, homes and cities are very different than your own. This is your opportunity to learn about French culture first hand. You will be allowed to experience day-to-day life while living with a French host. How do I apply for a homestay?
How is homestay different than a hotel or Apartments ? Choosing to live in a homestay is not only a wonderful way to experience Paris without spending all of your money for housing and food, it is a unique opportunity to live and experience French life. Our hosts open their homes and lives to you, and they should be treated with respect and honesty. Our homestays are not commercial establishments with maid services and cooks. Our homestays are homes offered by open-minded and caring people, willing to share in a cultural exchange. Accommodation fee will depend on the option you choose.There is no service charges or taxes apply... The rates indicated per day or per week include the whole prestation. How should I pay my accommodation fee ? The down payment of 70 € is due upon your registration and validate your booking. Then you can pay your accommodation by credit card by different way (online, phone, fax or mail). In case of cancellation we will charge 70 € on your credit card. How will I get to my homestay on the first day? You are responsible for your own transportation to and from your homestay. There are taxis, buses, and the subway at the airport. If you are interested in an airport pick-up service, please contact the office for details and prices. May I pay my accommodation fees when I arrive? If you are staying up to 6 weeks, the total payment is due once you receive your homestay's address; exceptionally and for special purposes, we will accept it on your arrival , by credit card. For longer stays, the payment is required every beginning of month by bank transaction upon invoice and receipt of the bank transaction . Please contact us via email or at + 33 1 45 00 45 51 for bank instructions. For all registration you will be asked for your credit card number to confirm your booking. In case of cancellation we will charge 150 euros on your credit card. What is the application deadline? In order to provide professional service to you, applications should be received at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival in Paris , but short delay till 1 week before is also possible . The normal delay is 6-4 weeks, but there is no use to register like 3 months before. Our hosts don't know their planning so long before and particularly during july and August .
Usually minimum 3-4 rooms flat. Some of them are of very high standing. Most of them are situated in West and south side of Paris, residential area. Selection of hosts depending more of their ability. Who does my laundry and cleans the house? Your host will propose to make a laundry minimum once a week , more if you need and on arrangments with the hosts . Although you will not be expected to clean the house, but please be considerate and clean up after yourself! All homestay options include the continental breakfast (juice, cereal, toast, coffee/tea)., shared and prepared by your host most of the time.. If you have diner included in your homestay option, your evening meal will be prepared by, and shared with, the host.., 5 diners are included in the week . If you have chosen the option B&B , you have an access to the kitchen in the evening .on arrangement with your host Will I live within walking distance of my school No. but Paris is easy the transportation from home is anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. Do I have the guarantee of beeing accommodated ? YES. Once we receive your application form , it is acted as a definitive booking for us ; once confirmed by your option of payment, we will send you hour host profile. If no details of payment provided, having no guarantee from you, we can't answer to your request. |
